The toning effect will increase the longer the product remains on your strands. We recommend starting with 1-3 minutes. You can always leave it on longer depending on the end result you are looking for. While our purple shampoo is pigmented to neutralize brassiness, it is not known to stain hands, towels, or showers. However, it's always a good practice to rinse any residue promptly.

This product was not formulated to stain, however, we do recommend taking all proper precaution by rinsing thoroughly both your hair and any surface the product comes in contact with to avoid any possible staining.
